SeamLedger’s guidance, calculations, mappings, and exports are general software assistance. They are not accounting, tax, legal, audit, or investment advice. Claude may misread a receipt or suggest an incorrect statement mapping. Automatic exact or fuzzy matching can also be wrong when different transactions share similar dates or amounts. Review source documents and the report before approval.

A “matched,” “balanced,” or “exported” label describes a condition in SeamLedger. It is not an audit opinion, proof that all underlying transactions are correct, or confirmation that your accounting software has accepted the file.

Check account identifiers, dates, debit/credit treatment, refunds, allocations, vendors, classes, and other fields against your accounting software. A journal that balances can still contain an incorrect account or date.

Downloading or previewing a file does not post it to your books. After importing, compare entry counts, totals, and sample transactions. Avoid importing the same report twice. Keep a copy of the original source documents and the exported file.

Supported software can vary by edition, region, subscription, configuration, and import method. Follow the product-specific instructions. FreshBooks and Wave use different workflows from journal-entry import, and some adjustments may require manual action.

QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, NetSuite, Sage, Odoo, FreshBooks, Wave, and other product names belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies software or instructions; it does not imply sponsorship, certification, or affiliation.
